Counselling and therapy in a safe, comfortable and private setting

You will be offered a safe and confidential space to step away from the demands of everyday life and explore the challenges you are experiencing. Together, we will gently examine your circumstances, opening up new perspectives and supporting a deeper understanding of yourself.
My approach is grounded in person-centred counselling, with a strong emphasis on empathy, authenticity, and respect for your individual experience. Alongside this, I integrate other therapeutic modalities where appropriate, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Transactional Analysis. This integrative approach allows the work to be tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Counselling is not about being given advice or ready-made answers, but about being supported and empowered to find your own path to change. I am a fully qualified counsellor with experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I am a registered member of the NCPS, adhering to their strict code of ethics.
Together, we can work through your current challenges and explore solutions that feel right for you.

I’ve worked in a variety of charity settings, supporting people from many different backgrounds, including refugees and asylum seekers, those affected by domestic or sexual abuse, and those coping with grief and loss. I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult, and I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be heard, understood, and supported in a way that feels right for you.

You will be offered sessions in both English and French.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and transformation, and I am here to support you on your journey of self-discovery and personal development.

Speak in Confidence

Meeting a counsellor for the first time can feel like a big step. Counselling is offered in a safe, confidential setting — online or near London Bridge station — where you will be listened to with care, empathy, and without judgement. The therapy space is yours, allowing thoughts and feelings to be shared openly and at a pace that feels right for you.

A problem shared...

People seek counselling for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety or depression, coping with the effects of abuse, or living with grief, loss or bereavement. You might be feeling isolated after relocating, adjusting to life in a new country, or exploring questions around racial identity and belonging. I also work with clients affected by trauma and PTSD, as well as difficulties with anger or overwhelming emotions. Whatever brings you to counselling, you will be met with warmth, respect and care, and offered a safe, confidential space to explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

“Following a bereavement therapy, I had counselling sessions with Marie-Line to continue my healing process. She is an excellent listener, able to reformulate your own speed and thoughts, which really helped me to understand who I am as a person and therefore find my own solutions. Thanks to her tips, I found ways to deal with overwhelming emotions and uncomfortable situations. I recommend her to anyone looking for a person-centred approach."
