Bereavement and Loss Counselling in London Bridge

When Loss Changes Everything

Losing someone important can feel overwhelming.

You may be struggling with sadness, anger, guilt, loneliness, or a sense that life no longer feels the same. Some days may feel manageable, while others feel impossible.

Grief affects everyone differently. There is no right way to grieve and no timeline that you should follow.

Whether your loss is recent or happened many years ago, counselling can provide a space where you do not have to carry your grief alone.

Understanding Grief

Bereavement can affect every part of your life.

You may experience:

  • Intense sadness or tearfulness
  • Anger, guilt, or regret
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Anxiety or panic
  • Feeling disconnected from others
  • Loss of meaning or purpose
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • A sense that nobody truly understands

Grief can also arise from experiences that are not always recognised by others, such as:

  • Pregnancy or infant loss
  • Relationship breakdown
  • Family estrangement
  • Loss of health or independence
  • Moving away from home or family
  • Significant life changes

Whatever your experience, your feelings deserve space and understanding.

How Counselling Can Help

Counselling cannot remove the pain of loss, but it can help you find ways of living alongside it.

Together we can:

  • Explore your thoughts and feelings safely
  • Make sense of complicated emotions
  • Understand how grief is affecting your life
  • Find ways to cope with overwhelming feelings
  • Reconnect with yourself and others
  • Honour your loss while continuing to move forward

There is no pressure to be positive or to “move on”.

Your grief will be welcomed exactly as it is.

My Approach

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly at your own pace.

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore your grief in a way that feels safe and manageable.
